June 24, 2024 – Retirement of the Honorable Pamila Brown.
Your HCBA teamed up with MSBA to host nearly 300 well wishers from across the State came to Turf Valley to honor the career and accomplishments of Howard County’s own, Judge Pamila Brown. Several Justices, Judges, politicians, attorneys, and community leaders were in attendance as well as Judge Brown’s amazing family and friends. Judge Lisa Broten MC’ed the event which featured several speakers, delicious food and beverages, live jazz trio, and many commendations were presented to Judge Brown to demonstrate how much she has meant to our community over Judge’s 22 years of service — HCBA also had custom boobleheads of Her Honor provided to each member of her family. It was a great event honoring a great person. Judge Brown is a force and she remain busy with many projects making the County a better place for all. So with that, in the words of the venerable Pamila Brown, “luv ya, bye.”
