June 26 – August 6, 2024. Law Days of Summer
The program was developed by Judge Porter to introduce high school, college, and law students on various career pathways in the law. The program invites the students into the courtrooms, lawyers and judges debrief the cases, the students have networking opportunities, they are given a courthouse tour, and each day features two separate panel discussions with court staff, paralegals, sheriff’s deputies, attorneys from all backgrounds, politicians, and judges. Every day lunch is provided by our friends at Ledo’s of Clarksville in the River Hill Village Center and Abramson Law. Each day there are over 100 students registered and different panels present each time. We really appreciate the legal professionals who generously donated their time to be on panels, the tremendous amount of work and coordination done by our HCBA Members on the Committee, lead by Vicki Rand of HoCoSAO, and of course our event sponsors. Every Law Day has been a great success.
