There are some people who talk about the importance of making a difference in our community and there are those who act on the sentiment. Karen Amos is a domestic law attorney, the Senior Partner of Amos Perrick Law, Chair of Howard County Bar Association’s (HCBA) Family Law Section and she spent years working to pass animal rights bills in the General Assembly. She continues to give back by fostering dogs and over 100 litters of puppies. Karen also works with a local high school organization, VolunTeens (www.volunteensco.com). See photos. These are teen volunteers to come over to have regular “puppy playtime” with the dogs but they also help Karen with chores such as washing, walking, and cleaning up. Thank you to Karen!
