Nov. 30th — Annual Bar Holiday Party
The combined HCBA, HCWBA, and WMLS Annual Holiday Party was a huge success this year. Most importantly, everyone had a great time together. This year HCBA added a Photo Booth and that brought people together to take some very interesting photos while providing mementos of the occasion. We had a record 160 attendees, a record high amount of sponsorships, and a record amount of money raised from the Silent Auction items. As a result, the Bar Associations were able to raise a record Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) to benefit Columbia Community Care (CCC). The proceeds will be delivered soon and look for another photo of the HCBA Big Check on HCBA’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. April Lee, CCC’s Pantry Manager and Outreach coordinator attended the event, commenting that everyone had a great time and that CCC is so very grateful for the fantastic support of the Bar.
That level of holiday giving could not have been accomplished without the hard work of the Party Planning Team led by Kellie Lego with strong contributions from Gina Wrobel, Lisa Mohink, and Thomas Mulinazzi, and certainly not without our extremely generous sponsors:
