Mr. McAndrews has been in private practice in Howard County since 1999. Prior to opening his own office in Columbia, he was a trial attorney with a general litigation practice in Baltimore City. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Howard County Bar Association where he serves on the Board of Directors, as a member at large. He is also the Chair of the Lawyer Referral Committee and is former Chair of the Judicial Merit Selection Committee. He is a member of the Howard County Bar Foundation and serves as a volunteer facilitator of the Howard County Circuit and District Courts. He has served as attorney coach and as a judge for Maryland State Bar Association High School Mock Trial Competition. And is a faculty member of the MICPEL Deposition and Procedure Program. He has twice been the recipient of the President’s Award from the Howard County Bar Association. Mr. McAndrews’ practice concentrates on general legal representation of small businesses and individuals, including business and commercial collections, estate matters, traffic and criminal defense, and civil litigation. He is also a trained mediator concentrating in Elder Care Mediation.
